This blog is a collection of recipes I shared with my family over the years. Some I followed literally, some I modified, and others I created. I am a believer that sugar and all its various forms should be used sparingly. I avoid using it in savory dishes, and I often reduce the suggested amounts in desserts. Mostly, I believe that the healthiest way to feed ourselves is to cook from scratch. I started this blog for my girls went they left for college and it's fun to know they still use it years later.
